New Focus

Wow, it has been so long since the last post! I hope you all had a great summer, fun Thanksgiving and are looking forward to a blessed Christmas!

Now, from my heart, I want to thank those who took the time to personally email me during my long 8 months of silence. Many of those emails brought light to my dark days and left me in tears of gratitude because they were exactly what I needed to “hear” at the time I read them. I am grateful & amazed at how God uses people (especially those we’ve never met) to bring words of encouragement to strengthen us during our times of hardships & trials… I do not know many of you personally, but God used each one of you in a perfect way to encourage my family and me. Thank you! God is awesome!

We now have internet in our home and I am looking forward to blogging again, however the last 8 months of minimal internet has shown me where my focus now needs to be. My focus needs to be on my relationship with Christ, my family and the ministry. We also are expecting our third child anytime now! So, I will be busy raising two toddlers and a babe… I’m sure many of you mothers can understand the joy and challenges life bring raising 3 kids under 5 years old! Whew!

I want to keep this blog going because many of you have shared with me via emails and comments that the blog has been an encouragement, a blessing and very helpful. I’ve enjoyed the work I put into Just Making Noise and hope it will continue to be a blessing for many years to come!

I am looking forward to sharing with you all the birth of our third child and hope that will be very soon! Please keep us in your prayers.

Again… Thank you!
Love and Hugs,

I’m really glad you’re back! I mean, you don’t know me at all, but I’ve been following you for over a year now and have so enjoyed your archived posts–we share the same food philosophy and it seems Christ centered home/family focus as well…and have been hoping to hear you again on here soon. So welcome back and congrats on baby #3!

Hee. Time passes, but when you are a wife and mom it is only a flicker in the candle. Nice to read you are doing well. I have just got a dehydrator so I may make your creal among other good things to eat. I have been waiting patiently.

Seriously, this IS a ministry! For real… just look at how many lives you’re touched. But I understand what you mean…

I’m sure it was kind of nice to not be connected. We didn’t have internet for 2 years after we moved state side and didn’t miss it. Now we’re addicted… easy to do.

Anyways, you know, I’m glad you’re back :o)

    Hi ,
So glad y’all got the internet. I have missed your blog.
Gods blessing to you and your family on baby #3. I am glad you waited to find out if it is a girl or boy. That was the most exciting for me to find out when it happened.
I was so excited to talk to Naomi and Tabitha on skype yesterday, they are so precious.
Merry Christmas to you and your family and Mom and Dad also.
Love you and miss you very much.
So glad y’all are being a great blessing to the Hondurian youth and their families.
    Love Grammy “Ole”
    Hugs and kisses to y’all

    Hi,

I am so glad that you are on line again. I know we hate progress but with all of our family all over the place this is such a nice way to keep in touch.

I love your blog and to see how big your girls are getting. God bless you to you for baby #3, it is exciting to not know what you are having until the baby is born. I loved the excitement with the birth of both of my children.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and we all can not wait to hear the good news when your next baby is born.
Take care and enjoy your warm weather because us here in the Midwest, Mpls. area got 17-24 in. of snow Fri. to Sat. and we are still trying to shovel out of the mess.
I love your blogs and to find out how your life is progressing and to see your family grow and to find out your adventures. You were meant to write this for us to share and to give you the support that you and us need.
    Loveyoumore,

    Aunt/Great Aunt Steph

Yeah! I was so excited when I opened my blog reading programme this morning and saw this! I don’t really mind what you blog about 😉 It’s just lovely to read about you and your growing family knowing that you hold a lot of the same values as my little family does. God bless and can’t wait to hear how it goes with the newbie!

    Welcome back!
Break aways from internet are good no matter the reason.
I just got back on 2 days ago after almost a 2 month break away from all internet.
It was refreshing! With a deep refocus of internet use, time spent and new focus on blogging, etc…
Lord Bless you all and may this new year bring much JOY to you all.
    Love, Pamela
